So it's been a few weeks since I wrote last... And it's absolutely amazing how much I manage to fit in to just a few short weeks. After Madrid and a week of class we had our first spring break. We went to Italy (Florence, Rome, and Pompeii). Highlights include... the David, seeing Haley, seeing Arielle, Roman ruins, the foood!
Last weekend I went to Paris. It might actually be one of my favorite cities (behind Sevilla of course and with Rome close behind). It was absolutely beautiful and I was nicely surprised by the kind French people. Like Italy, the food was amazing. Funny story...I was walking around the Tulleries one of the days... and who did I run into, but someone from high school (Chris Weidman). Small world.
This week I went to a bullfight. Surprisingly, it didn't bother me too much, although it definitely was an experience. One of the bullfighters almost died (only one or two bullfighters have ever died in Sevilla).
Tonight I went to a bar and watched flamenco. After, some of the people there began to teach us how to dance Sevillano for Feria this week. I can't wait.
Tomorrow I'm going to Portugal! I just booked my flight to Barcalona next Wednesday!
: )
